CBS: Top 30 Freshmen - Ennis #10

I'm thrilled that Ennis is likely one of two, maybe three, of the top 10 that will be back for his sophomore year.
It's nice to see Tyler Ennis #10 on this list, but where is Tyler Roberson? He isn't even on their honorable mention list.

LOL, did you notice the mug shot of Rondae Jefferson?

It's going to be tough for the kid to have major impact unless Grant or Fair get injured/suspended.

I don't pay attention to recruiting as much as some of the great posters here, but that's one of the reasons I do read all these threads. Ennis seems pretty legit by all your accounts and JB's.

I do not agree with this at all. CJ will get at least 35 minutes but Grant even though he is very talented, I can see him playing 25 to 30 minutes. Roberson will get plenty of minutes to show his talents. As coach said the minutes will play themselves out.

Which will make it more hilarious when neither cuts down the nets next April.

This years Kentucky team isn't anything like this years, they're much more talented this season. Last year they lost Noel when they were still ranked in the top 25. Just because you love the Cuse doesn't mean you have to be unrealistic about other teams in division 1 basketball. Kentucky and Kansas are VERY good teams.

Joel embiid is pretty raw. His impact this season will be somewhat mild.

Julius Randle will be the difference maker for UK this year. By March he may end up the best player in cbb.

First of all this years Kentucky team is just like this years Kentucky team (in fact they are identical). Secondly, neither you or anyone else has any idea if Kentucky is a very good team this year. They should be but you never know with freshman and they are counting on a lot of them. Lots of pressure on the Harrison's particulalry since the ball will be in their hands most of the time. UK may have the only frontline with the same depth SU has. Like SU the backcourt will determine how good they are. Counting on 2 6'5" freshman to be your primary (only?) ballhandlers is dicey. Good thing for them they play in the SEC.

So you would be shocked if Kentucky makes the final four? I'm not saying they're going to win it all but to say you don't know if they'll be any good is just a little crazy.

By your math that would limit Roberson's minutes to 15-20 a game. Thats not going to be enough for him to get on a national top freshman list, even if hes as good as advertised.

That's not even including minutes that Rak and Silent G see at the 3 and 4.

The great thing for UK and KU is they play in shitt conferences. Because of that I would be shocked if they don't patty cake their way to a 1 seed, to later lose in the 2nd or 3rd round.

This years UK team is like every other UK team from years past since cal took over. Top recruits /w questions of if they will come together and if they are truly as good as the rankings that all the recruiting services assigned them.
