Idea: should we have separate game threads tonight? One for people who actually like college football and are excited to watch two great teams compete and another for folks who feel the sport is chipping away at their personal quality of life?

All historical data says to choose Bama here, especially when they're a slight underdog. But I don't know, I just have a gut feeling that Georgia got the loss out of their system, will play inspired, and win their first title in 41 years.

I'll say 38-28 Dawgs.

Now Eric, just because we're not in denial about the lack of parity doesn't mean it's affecting our quality of life. That being said, if the game is entertaining enough to watch, I'll be watching and not posting. If Alabama wins going away, I will watch something else and won't ruin your game thread experience.

Bama to win between 1-13 points +200. Maybe a good time to start?

Bama has the much better offense. GA is like the pre-Lane Kitten OC Bama teams. Power running, great defense. QB is a game manager. If they get in a hole, they don't have the passing game to catch up. Pickens, their star WR, just got back from a torn ACL. He is their only deep threat. I want UGA to win but I feel it will be more disappointment for the Dawgs.

I like Alabama, but Georgia bounced back and looked great against Michigan. Georgia‘s defense looked very good, but Saban is pretty good game planning when given time to prepare. The best players in college football will be on the field tonight. Mistakes could be the difference.

UGA has been the best team all year. I think Kirby called off the “Dawgs” against Bama in the SEC championship knowing there would be a good chance of rematch in the playoff. Head says UGA wins but also hard to bet against Saban.
