The committee just told Oklahoma they have to win to be in.
They also told Ohio State good luck jumping Alabama.
If Wisconsin loses I think Bama is in.

ACC winner in
SEC winner in
Oklahoma in with win
Wisconsin in with win

Either of the bottom 2 lose Alabama in.
Both Oklahoma and Wisconsin lose then Ohio State in.

Bama has their fingers crossed that Fresno State and Auburn both win. Those are the only opponents making their schedule look decent. The committee is really trying to get Bama in by allowing MSU to be ranked which is a joke to try to help Bama, imo.

They brought up a good point that the ACC could still get two teams. There would have to be chaos but it is possible.

Miami > Clemson in a very close game
Auburn > UGA who lost to Clemson
TCU > OU since they are too far away to go from #11 and pass #1 Clemson
tOSU > Wisconsin do they jump Clemson?
Bama bye does Clemson fall behind?

The Top 2 is easy to figure out. Then out of the next 3 teams which 2 do you take? Clemson beat Auburn who beat Bama. Clemson has the bad loss but their QB was hurt. Hard to argue Bama over Clemson.

Ohio State is going to need another 59-0 win over Wisconsin like a few years ago. Otherwise they are out.

Anyone thinks chalk holds this weekend?

I’d be shocked if Clemson or Oklahoma lose. UGA - Auburn is a play in. Toss up in B1G.

I don't care who's in the playoff, so long as Alabama is out.

on the radio today they said that this meme was BS. I don't care enough to research it but just thought I would throw it out there.
No, Saban didn’t say only conference champs should make CFP

Sets up an amazing Saturday. ACC, SEC and B1G championships are all virtual playoff play-in games, while OU is in a must-win-to-get-in situation as well. Going to be fun.

OU game is doubly huge. They win it locks out OSU.

Maybe. I wouldn’t put it past the committee to slip Bama in over OSU.

Will they slip Bama in over Miami if OU, Auburn, Wisconsin, Miami are the 4 winners this weekend?

I don't see how that is possible. Miami would have wins over Clemson and Notre Dame. Bama's best win would continue to be LSU and they would have gone 0-2 against top ten teams.

I think if Miami wins, they are definitely in. In that scenario though, Clemson might sneak in as the fourth team over Bama. Both would have losses to playoff teams but Clemson would also have its win over Auburn. Hard to take Bama over Clemson if they have the same record and Clemson beat the team that beat Bama twice.

Clemson would have 2 losses. I think Bama gets in over them with 1 loss.

I worry about politics, and the day long Sunday debate on the TV/radio about who's the best team regardless of resume, is it Alabama or Miami. People will have a field day with it. Especially if there's any controversy around the Miami win.

I think it will be moot though. I don't see how Miami wins the game.

Committee is rooting hard for chalk this weekend. Makes their job easy. They can spend most of Sunday doing nothing, and a little time analyzing the Saturday games and determining seeds.

It wouldn’t surprise me. Putting Bama at 5 was a clear signal that the committee wants them in.

What scenario gets OSU in? Destroy wisconsin and hope OU loses, auburn loses, and clemson loses?

Win like 50-0, they don't deserve to be in the playoff, 2 losses, a 31 point loss to a mediocre Iowa team.
