I had to start this thread to share the thrill of winning a bet that was dead to rights. Colorado vs. Nebraska OVER 64.5. I check the score and it's 17-0 Nebraska w/10 mins left in third quarter, I've already chalked up a $330 loss. As I'm watching the Yankees game I see that score start to creep up. Switch over and watch the teams combine for 38 pts in the 4th quarter. Tied at 31 going into OT. I can't lose.

Tennessee blows a coverage for a 64 yard pass play by what appears to be a 12 year old to force OT.

Crazy

Could there be 3 teams from the same conference in the CFP (LSU, BAMA UGA)?

Props to Ehlinger - kid is a baller to keep UT in the game despite the obvious disparity in talent.

Went on to loss the game.

Things are getting ugly at Tennessee.

  • If you think the sky is falling here, you should see the reaction for Tennessee on their forums. They're at the bottom of the SEC and will be there for the foreseeable future. Can't fire the coach either because no coach will want that job.
  • Michigan isn't good. Army gave that game away yesterday by passing the ball in key situations. It's not their strength. Never has been. Pyrrhic victory for the Wolverines.
  • Florida State escaped by the skin of their teeth and it took a shanked XP to do just that. The coach should have gone for two on the road. No one would have questioned him he if did and the team failed. The level of apathy at Florida State amongst the fans is Robinson era bad. If Syracuse is trying to make a bowl game, that's a team that need to beat.
  • LSU is a national title contender if they keep this up. To think that the fans wanted Coach O fired when all he needed was time.

I despise PSU, yesterday was the worst football day I’ve had

Re: Tennessee, I'm convinced Palmer would be killing it here.

Re: Coach O and LSU - can’t remember, but was he on our list of potential successors to Shafer? I think I remember him rallying for the job - or former players were rallying for him. But was he ever a realistic choice? I still love Dino and I still think we’ll be good under him. But part of me also wonders if Coach O would have been able to build something here like he’s doing in Baton Rouge.

To the level he's doing at LSU? No, but a constant 8 win team? Absolutely. He's a great recruiter and players love to play for him. He should have been given the job full-time at USC.
