I think for the P4 you should rank teams based off of P4 Ws. Then FBS Ws. I think that is fair enough. It forces you to actually play real teams. FCS games hurt you as it could mean the difference in ranking. If you have 9 P4 Ws and 2 FBS you will be ahead of a team that has 9 P4 Ws, 1 FBS, and 1 FCS. Also P4 Ls don't really hurt you. A team that plays 12 P4 games and goes 9-3 will be ahead of a team that plays 9 P4 games and goes 11-1. Not sure how you place the G6s though in the rankings. I suppose you can keep them eye test cases. Looking at the current Top 15 you would get... 1. Ohio State 2. Indiana 3. Oregon (+2) 4. BYU (+7) 5. UGA (-2) 6. Texas Tech (-2) 7. A&M 8. Notre Dame (+2) 9. Bama 10. Miami (+2) 11. Utah (+4) 12. Ole Miss (-6) 13. Oklahoma (-5) 14. Vandy 15. Texas (-2) After the CCGs you would have a Top 4 of B1G Champ, B1G runner up, B12 Champ, and SEC Champ. Oregon would be the 5 seed. Miami would be the last team in. The big losers here are Ole Miss and Oklahoma. BYU is the big winner. These SEC teams get away with playing only 8 conference games and no one OOC. That changes next year when they go to 9 conference games. Which would make the above system even more fair.
