It is lazy to put Miami in the bracket when the would not qualify for the ACC CG. They should slot GA Tech there.

I think going to 16 teams by just adding more at larges would be too much. We don't need 11 at larges. Going to 24 with multiple auto bids for conferences is even worse.

I think going to 20 makes the most sense if it is the 10 conference champs and 10 at larges (which adds only 3 more). So using the above rankings it would be...

That said I do see Oregon and Miami losing another game which would change things.

I think all but the B1G would vote for this too. The G6s certainly would. The ACC should as they are safe with the champ and have a shot at multiple. Same for the B12. SEC isn't capped. And ND has access.

Sagarin Rankings

We dropped slightly to 83rd. Which is still 15th in the ACC, next to last of the Northeastern P4s, and first in NY State. Our SOS thus far is 16th. We have five Top 25 teams on our schedule. But we only play one team ranked between 36th and 72nd. But we only play two teams outside the Top 79. We are the 6th worst P4.

Potentially we are setup for SU vs BC with the loser being the 2nd worst P4 team this year (no one is catching Okie State), and worst P4 in the Northeast. We are also in danger of not being the best in NY State.

ACC has only one Top 22 team, but 7 between 23rd and 36th. But also has three of the bottom six P4s.

The SEC has 0.0 Top 4 but six of the Top 13, ten of the Top 20, and the worst team is 48th.

The B1G has the Top 3, but has eight teams worse than the SEC's worst. They also have the 2nd worst P4.

The Sun Belt now has the highest G6 conference leader, and CUSA has the lowest ranked conference leader.

I would like to play Northeastern G6s OOC. Temple, Buffalo, Delaware, UMass (worst FBS team) are all outside the Top 115. UConn, Navy, Army are all outside the Top 70.

Same for the Northeastern P4s. Rutgers, West Virginia, Maryland are all outside the Top 60. Only Penn State is highly ranked.

Vandy is just a nice story
USC having watched them 4-5 times they have talent but are all over in how they play

Texas is not very good on one side of the ball at all
Mich is just OK but mostly when they play at home

On the left

Miami when the play has more upside than BYU/UTAH

Not sure on OK but they found a way to win some big games, but QB has been bad for 5-6 weeks

Not convinced on Oregon as being real good

The top 5 are all tough outs
The next 7 who knows.
