Some talk about he has to get stronger because of his size. That's probably true, Ryan is listed at 6'0" 170 lbs.  Petty is 6'1" 168 and Tanner is 6'0" 160.  More strength will always help but ballers ball and Ryan's tape looks like a baller.  When I was in college a friend of a friend's little brother (follow that?) had a game nearby and a bunch of us went.  This kid was 15 years old, 5'8" 125 lbs or so and went off.  Later that year we found out he led the nation in scoring at 44.5 points per game. 3 years later people laughed when he went to Ohio State because of his size. 4 years later, as a 6'0" 158 lb senior, Jay Burson left as Ohio State's 5th leading scorer of all time.  Ryan has all the size he needs.  If he has the game and the toughness needed he could provide a lot of excitement to Syracuse basketball.

I think the most important thing for Ryan was to get away from CNY high school basketball and challenge himself at a much higher level and against better competition. He's done that and done it well.  I think ImperialOrange hit it on the head above...10-12 mpg is what I'd expect this season.
