Given the state of the program, and the fact that our "QB of the future" is stealing from stores, I would still have been happy to have Kelly on the team. Its not like the players on the team we have now are Mother Teresa's. What he said was very dumb and immature, but would the same comments be said had he signed here? I feel bad tha t Hunt screwed himself badly but I doubt he was ever going to be our "quarterback of the future". I was rooting for him after having lost his parents including his mom who liked Syracuse and kind of urged him to come here.

When should we expect the QB of the future to walk through the door then? Its Marrones 4th year and he is still starting a QB recruited by the previous coach. I was told by a son of a coach on the staff that the staff was very high on Hunt being the next QB to take over. Thats not right from the horses mouth but I found it very credible.

Yeah because the environment the two kids grew up in is so similar, I mean surely Hunt has had all the opportunties and resources that Kelly has. Hunt did a dumb thing very dumb. How does he respond? We shall see but comparing the two is crazy, IMO.

Kelly is a spolied brat and apparently an arrogant like his uncle

There is a whole lot more wrong with Kelly than just that comment. Glad he's Clemson's problem. The chances of him having a 4-5 year career with the Tiger's is pretty slim.

If anyone would want Kelly at SU you really need to get your head checked. Your QB is supposed to be the leader not the guy tearing the locker room apart. I fully agree with OE on his chances of even making it at Clemson 4 to 5 years being slim. I would be suprised if he makes it past a year honestly

Pretty sure one of our players without Kelly's sense of entitlement and coddled upbringing would've ended up choke slamming him through a locker.

He showed up earlier this month. Transferred from Milford. Highly doubt Hunt is out of the equation yet though.
