Resume wise the top 2 seed lines are very powerful this year. Much better than the 2 or 3 prior years.
There is a clear division between teams #8 (Kansas or Zaga) and team #9 in this tournament. No matter what happens the top 2 seed lines are fixed entering the tournament. For the most the best conferences had a champion who clearly won their league.
Look at the 3 seed line -- Maryland, Iowa St, Baylor, Oklahoma... they are clearly below Nova, Zona, Kansas, Gonzaga, Wisconsin.
Just remember last year that there was so much confusion after the top 3 teams, that Syracuse could get anywhere from that last 1 (by somehow winning the ACC tourney) to a 4 seed depending on how well they did in the ACC tourney.
So the question is -- are these teams as good as their resumes? Will this be a year that only 1&2 seeds make the final four.
Or they don't cut it as that great under the "eye" test.
