Are we saying Final Four or bust next year? Louisville did the same thing last year by having their players return. I doubt, but do you think it crosses MCW's mind that they have a real good shot next year?

I actually think the FF appearance works against his coming back. Had we not made the FF, just maybe, he would have wanted to come back to have that experience. Now it's a been there done that type of thing.

I doubt he would come back to try and win a NC - too much pressure & too much to lose - very little to gain and with a young team we are not exactly stacked as, eg, when Florida had that entire team return.

Actually, the best chance we have of him coming back is him getting pushed down the draft boards due to all of the other early draft entrants that are announcing.

If 2015 is really our shot, we may be better off with MCW leaving. Ennis will take his lumps next year and then be battle ready. Problem is that I increasingly fear the program is about to be gutted by the NCAA and we'll lose McCullough over it.

It sucks if 2015 is our shot, since the East Regionals are in the Carrier Dome that year :(

I thought next year is the Dome? And then 2014-15 is Buffalo, then MSG for regionals?

Could be but the place I looked today it was the opposite. Buffalo and MSG next year. Dome the following year.

Oladipo improved his 3 point shooting from 20.8% as a freshman to 44.1% this year as a junior. Who's to say MCW couldn't improve a lot also.

who is the shooter

We'll have shooters by committee. It's not likely anybody will fill it up like Southerland could, but 3 or 4 guys shooting 35% or better would do the trick.

Your fears are misplaced. There will be no gutting.

I'm trying to picture the top of the zone with MCW and Buss, both with 7 foot wingspans.

And don't forget Silent G with MCW.

I wonder what G's wingspan is. I didn't get the impression it was that big. Not that he would be any kind of a deficit for us.

Yeah, good question. I would think it is no less than his height, but maybe not freakishly long like Buss. Wouldn't be a bad rotation there though, add in Ennis and Cooney and there are five quality guards.

If MCW came back which of our recruits would get screwed? We don't have enough scholies for 5 incoming recruits.

Wouldn't that put us at 13 scholarships? MCW, Fair, Rak, DCII, Keita, Cooney, Silent G, Grant and then the 5 recruits?

I guess it's pretty obvious I can't count then...
