I just turned 25, and the last time we were ranked I was 8 years old. This feels too good to be true at the moment. I’m still waiting for the wheels to fall off because I have never experienced the alternative with Syracuse football. This week is the biggest game of the year, imo. If we beat Wake, we should be at 8 wins heading into ND and BC. Having a hard time grasping that we are a top 25 team and I am excited to finally think of the program as relevant. I’m having so much fun watching this team, and I’m hoping the momentum carries on so I can finally think of our team as winners. Go Cuse!

Since the 4-0 start i've had them at 8-4 minimum otherwise i would have been disappointed. I'm definitely not coming off of that now and hoping for 3 out of 4 to finish. Anything less than a split would be disappointing. I really think this was a good team with a lot of really good young players who would just get better as the season progressed. You can see that improvement in guys like Taj, Nykeim, Cisco, Melfi, Trill, etc. We are 6-2, but our best ball of the season is ahead of us. I really think that road game at Pitt, coming off an emotional Clemson game was a learning experience. They have a similar situation this week on the road after an emotional home win over a ranked NCST. I think this group will show they leanred from Pitt and come out to take care of business against Wake. Give me 8-2 vs ND with a hungry, confident, young team with senior leaders at QB, OT, and DT and i like my chances vs ND and BC.

I’ve enjoyed see this team get bowl eligible, discussing which bowl will be our destination, and seeing Syracuse in all of the rankings. With that being said, I think we are entering the tough part of our schedule and expectations should be realistic. 3 out of 4 games are on the road and we haven’t had much luck away from CNY. Wake has their season on the line at home Saturday, BC is ranked, and ND is Top 5 with a hell of a lot at stake. After 8 games, we know what this team is, a team that could win or lose most games on the schedule. We have some good momentum but we’ve won by narrow margins at home recently. I think we beat Louisville and have 7-5 worst case scenario. We probably pick off Wake or BC on the road but not both. 8-4 is the likely outcome when late November comes. We should all be satisfied with that season should it play out that way. I’d love 9-10 wins but 8 is definitely acceptable.

I'm drinking the Kool aid from here on out. We're scoring tons of points and forcing other teams to do the same to keep pace. Notre Dame and BC will be tough but good for us if we win. Wake doesn't think they are a good team themselves. Keep up the pressure and that's a road win in the second half.

4-0 is the goal.
Exactly. We can win all 4 games without any doubt in my mind. Wake is decent lately but we do us we should win and Louisville. We almost took Clemson so I definatly don’t think Nd is unbeatable for us. Bc is I winnable game as we improve our run defense. One game at a time. We can do this.

wake is a 50/50 game because until i see our offense travel for a full game i still worry

UL is a 90/10 game because no team doesnt have a stinker

ND is a 20/80 game but if we are 2-2 that changes things

BC is a 30/70 game but if we are 3-0 that changes things.

We match up better against Notre Dame than BC. If Notre Dame was at the dome it’d be a packed 50,000 and another historic night.

My outlook as well. I think BC will beat us pretty easily to be honest. They are pretty good and by far are worst match up of the year. They have that physical mauling type look to them where they just out meathead you and they love it

I am most happy for the younger SU fans and the seniors on the SU team. Welcome aboard!
