Seeing this I wondered what happened to Cody Catalina. Well he's now at Maryland as a grad assistant this year so he was on the sidelines last Saturday. Coach Shafer had brought in his own grad assistants - one from Northern Illinois, the other from Ohio and both had prior coaching experience. One of our current grad assistants had been a grad assistant at UNC.

I know Loeb is one of the most well liked and respected kids on the team.

He is also a great student. All Big East the past 3 years and he is a lock to be All ACC this season. Has been on the AD Honor Roll every semester since he has been here. Already has his BS and is pursuing a master's in instructional design, development and evaluation.

Glad he will have an opportunity to finish up his master's and land his considerable experience to what will be a very young group of QBs next season.

He is more than just beefcake ladies....

If you can't do it lead him to it. If he can't do it, it can't be done.

A very hard working individual that put his heart and soul into the SU football program while representing the university with his academic prowess by his All Big East accomplishments and what looks like highly possibly All ACC for academics. I guarantee that his attitude and leadership has had a lasting impression on the incoming freshmen and the players on this team. Certainly a roll leader on this “hard nosed” team and he certainly epitomizes the student athlete. Thank you, Charlie!
