Really like the logic that you've brought to this discussion IT, it's refreshing to hear such laudatory things be said about Syracuse the school and the lacrosse program. I don't disagree with anything you've said. But the thing about transfers, and picking a school to attend in general, is that often logic doesn't factor in to the decision as much as it probably should. Especially for a 18-19 year old. I remember my process (without the athletics component), and the things I focused on then seem awfully trivial now. Maybe he really likes the campus of one of the schools, maybe he hits it off with a potential future teammate or coach. He can tell himself the rest of the stuff (major, tuition costs, playing style) can be figured out later. A week to decide all this in the grand scheme of things is a very short time. Anyway, hope Scanlan makes the right choice for him and makes the most of the opportunity.
