Abro1975 (rutgers fan) told me parking on the The Grand Concourse is half the price than at Yankee Stadium Parking Lots. It is a couple blocks east of the Stadium. $22.00 prepaid

Update: Try this garage on Grand Concourse also...Might be about $16.00
This lot a 800 Grand Concourse only about $15-16 all day, maybe cheaper for 6-8 hours. It's corner of 159 st and Grand Concourse, same walking time as the $22 parking lot you posted.

Also parking at 161 St parking deck to go to the roof level (4 level lot) for best tailgating experience. They will be outside with awesome views and can see a lot of action going on in the parks across the street. They can get a reserve spot here and print out parking pass, the roof level for our Bowl game filled up about an hour before kickoff. It quotes $35 but they bump it up for the Pinstripe bowl. Note: I didn't see a link to prepay for 161st parking Garage so you might have to go to Ruppert.
