College basketball!
If we’re cheating right now and this is the production we’re getting out of it……we need a new strategyI don’t understand the obsession with “cheating” on here.
We have cheated before and I would bet are cheating in some capacity right now. And cheating in college athletics is giving the labor of the billion operation money under the table. Who cares?
We should cheat more we might be good again.
The obsession is not about the cheating its about the inequity in which the rules are enforced. Blue blood schools are "allowed" to do almost what ever they want with little or no consequences (no work classes, allowing shoe company money, etc) while a school that allows it's players to be paid for reffing social club games or has a secretary review a foreign students paper, gets 3 years of penalties is not fair.I don’t understand the obsession with “cheating” on here.

ahha - now I understand the bullseye the program has had on its back...shouldve been obvious but didnt click until i read your post. All of this pay for play was very organized and Syracuse didn't participate in it and were made an example of because of that. It's the same way organized crime operates everywhere.
Did anyone listen to Key, Jay and Max this morning? They had a discussion about cheating in college basketball and I am still trying to process the crap I heard. Max actually took the stance that the schools that haven't been paying the players illegally are exploiting the players more. And Jay will, for obvious reasons has no problem with it.
The reason Syracuse didn't want to participate was because of the first probation, which was another sham.ahha - now I understand the bullseye the program has had on its back...shouldve been obvious but didnt click until i read your post.
Louisville should be the definition of the death penalty.I feel that we can't risk cheating more without playing with the death penalty. It was disheartening seeing known cheaters thrive in every part of the bracket.
not in the NCAA, Mark Emmert wheelhouse. His wheelhouse is employing the "look over there" strategy for protecting his sacred cash cow that is the NCAA tournamentWas UNC ever really punished for their “basket weaving” classes?
