Don’t know how to describe how that TD made me feel while there watching.

I was going nuts all game. Completely taken by the rollercoaster of emotion. Girlfriend probably rolled her eyes at me 20 times.

Was completely silent when that TD was caught and the dome exploded in applause and cheers. I honestly think it was just pure validation and joy that I felt. Had no idea what the hell to do

After Alfords catch was ruled out of bounds on the same drive I thought the TD would be as well. Took until the replay before I allowed myself to celebrate. Just a long history of bad calls that makes me question when good things happen

Perhaps my favorite part of the game winning TD was the way the crowd (and I, and everyone around me) reacted.

There truly was a long instant…..maybe a second, where there was dead silence.

I think we all needed a moment to process what had just happened. I think we all were just a little surprised and stunned. It was too good to be true. Did what we see happen really happen?

And then from absolute silence to the loudest explosion of joy of the day.

It was a special moment. Thanks Garrett, OG2, Coach Anae (Coach Beck?).etc.

Brings me to a question. Did Coach Beck take over play calling for that last drive? Based on earlier comments on how UVa worked, I suspect he did.
