The chat room hasn't worked in years. Getting it to work again requires me to remember what it was like to actually get it to work in the first place, which was about a dozen years ago.

I just mean it’s popped up on the tool bar for me I’ve never seen it there

I have this little icon on mobile showing a green message indicator in chat I never had before yet when I click it, it tells me to off and nothing happens

You likely left a chat without logging out and you're getting an alert that there are new messages or new people in that chat. Or it's something else.
