Wow, that 2002 game was exciting! First time I can remember watching any highlights (I was deployed in the desert at the time, training to invade Iraq and missed it.) The only game I saw that year was the BYU game. So many highlights in that game. Ah, what you can find on youtube.

That game was insane.

2002 the offense was actually really good. Problem was no Freeney and then the whole starting defense missed games here and there. Three out of four DL had leg injuries, secondary was gutted at times, LB's nicked up. They couldn't stop anyone.

That game was insane. 2002 the offense was actually really good.

It wasn't good until Nunes took over. Anderson was bad that year. He was a perfect fit for the 2001 team. He could manage the game while the defense constantly put the offense in favorable situations. In 2002, the defense was bad. The team needed a QB to make plays. The offense had no pulse with Anderson.

I was at the game with my brother-in-law. We sat on the second level, down low at the 40. We were shoulder to shoulder, yelling at the top of our lungs and still could not hear each other. Great game, great win!

54th in the country on offense. i remember them being better than that because they had a couple monster games but they had some real forgettable stinkers
