Chris Clark's deep threat will be needed Saturday at Rutgers

press coverage can be an issue, but he is the 3rd-4th option so he should not be getting the best DB and usually not even press coverage if he is slotted or in motion. the few times I saw him in the game he didn't even run routes more than 5 yards

you mean like that third down play where he ran about a 4 yard pattern when we needed 5 ?

Put him in the slot and have him run fly's straight down the field to see how they defend it.

Adrian Flemming, it is your time to shine.

I saw him open once long (15+) and Nassib didn't see him but he does have to learn to push/fight off and not let the bigger rutgers guys push him around.

i already miss rahme immensely and he is still writing articles...

Another set of fresh legs running and receiving. Bring him in and see if he can burn anybody.

My question is, will boy-wonder realize that they need to try to get downfield or will he put together a NE Patriots dink & dunk game plan that is sure to fail.

We finally have a guy who can run under Nassib's massively overthrown deep passes and we run him on underneath routes.

Ryan needs to have patience to let the deep routes form. His line gave him time last week, but he started with the happy feet and rushed into a wasted play. Patience is a virtue, Mr. Nassib.

It would be nice...

Is Rahme leaving - did I miss something?

He is not being retained as a football writer with the PS. He has been offered Lax full time, but he hasnt decided if he is going to take it.

I am not a huge Clark fan, he is a poor-mans Van Chew. I am not sure if he was worth wasting a schollie on. If he can prove to be a good deep threat I will eat my words but I just cant see it happening. He is so unphysical. I am afraid he will be snapped in half.

Sign me up for Flemming down the field. Our only true "go get it" physically built receiver.

hard to really know what he is, he has been hurt/sick all year. but he has a TD in about 15 total plays so its not all bad.

Yeah, def way too early to say he sucks and is too small. Being small doesn't mean you can't have an important role. We're asking him to dominate on deep routes b/c we don't have any other "fast" wr's playing right now, that's not fair in his first few games. Just because he's fast doesn't make him a deep threat. Saying he's not worth a schollie doesn't make any sense to me, how would we know that yet?

I hope you guys are right.. I just don't see it yet. And I will admit we haven't had a lot to see. But jucos should compete right away. If kobena, foster, and Fleming were healthy he probably wouldn't play. I think because of injuries he was forced to play when he needed to redshirt.

Calling the PS the "Sub Standard" is being too generous. So they're going to keep that lightweight Bud on football & show the door to Rahme?

pretty much...

:bang:

If syracuse.com had anything, they had a gem in Rahme and a good team in waters/ditota who work well off of each other. Letting the football gem go is insanity at its finest to me.

Marvin Harrison was undersized as well, though not to this extent. There are some examples of small WRs that had good careers. That said, he needs to add some pounds in the offseason - at least 10-15 lbs.

Wonder if HCDM rues the decision to let the RI hero leave with 1 year left?

Bring back the Herald Urinal!!

Oh and now on topic. So being fast makes you a threat? Does Usain Bolt have any eligibility?
