Sorry if I missed something, but has White determined where he will spend his graduate year as a fifth year senior? With no fourth guard on the roster and open scholarships by the boatload why not declare 2015-16 as a redshirt year and stay put. Wouldn't be the worst thing to have a player with three years in the system available for practice and token / emergency minutes. I suppose he may have dreams of being a big fish in a small pond but I would think this merits at least a little consideration.

He will be at Pace University in Pleasantville, NY. Had a nice chat with him about his decision at the Final Four; he is really looking forward to it. (Oddly enough, Pace is about two miles from where I .. and Otis Hill... attended Pleasantville HS).

Plus, presumably grad school.

That would be a tough thing to talk him out of, for no real "payoff" other than helping out our team.

Great to hear. Really respected the way he handled his situation at Syracuse where the NCAA sanctions basically took a scholarship away from him. Decision to stay with the program and provide leadership and practice work with no chance of appearing in a game speaks volumes.

One of my brothers graduated from there. Nice area.

I didn't respect that man bun though but I at least came to peace with it.

Maybe he'll be able to catch on with a European team in the future that will truly appreciate that form of art.

Yup, I can assure you that he's pretty excited to begin grad school at Pace and get to play some more basketball.

I thought he ended up getting one when they gave us one back.

Well, the theory was grad school with a full ride at Cuse depending on course of study but I've heard a rumor that Syracuse has grad school too. Some of which are fairly highly regarded.

No doubt, wasn't disrespecting SU's graduate programs.

I meant that White might already have a plan in place for Pace, which he would have to alter to remain here [and likely not play, whereas he could go to grad school AND probably play at Pace].

My understanding is that while he would love to spend another year at SU, he really wants to go somewhere where he can get some playing time and make a difference with his play on the court.

I wish him the past at Pace. I think Pace has a campus extension in Manhattan, right at the base of the Brooklyn Bridge. So they have they going for them as well...

I thought the man bun looked better than the disheveled somewhat greasy looking long hair he had before he put it up in a bun.
I also loved his hustle and attitude along with his enthusiasm on the bench.

Indeed they do, great area down there. Tons of good food. I used to work at 14 Wall St, old JP Morgan building. He hid his mistress one floor above us, was converted to a steakhouse.

Christian White hid his mistress in a steakhouse?
