How do so many announcers get his last name wrong? Unless I'm missing something, all of the letters that need to be pronounced are staring you directly in the face. Is a silent 'w' even a thing in any language?

I’ve read that the correct pronunciation is in fact Chuk-oo. I prefer the Wu though.
