interesting line. will it come down like the USF line? probably the same line we will get against UL

I made some nice coin on SU +7.5 last week, I wouldn't touch this line. Cincinnati has better coaching and a better defense than USF. If the 2nd half Orange show up I love us, but the first half Orange are more likely show up for at least a portion of the game.

UL played both Cinci and USF at home. had 520 vs cinci, 480 vs USF, Cinci gained 340, USF gained 390. both lost the Turnover battle against USF, USF lost by 2, Cinci by 3..

I dont see a huge difference in these teams other than all three have more playmaker speed than SU.

if we keep the the TO battle to no worse than -1 we have a real shot.

-5?

No disrespect for the Orange, but have to think that line goes up.

Don't believe it should go up. Cincy is an average team.

2 wins are against D1AA; Delaware St and Fordham.

3rd win over Miami Ohio.

Then 2 wins over Pitt (which we beat) and Virginia Tech (who's 4-4)

2 losses to Toledo and LVille.

Sept. 6, 2012 Pittsburgh W 34-10
Sept. 15, 2012 Delaware St. W 23-7
Sept. 29, 2012 Virginia Tech W 27-24
Oct. 6, 2012 Miami-OH W 52-14
Oct. 13, 2012 Fordham W 49-17
Oct. 20, 2012 at Toledo L 29-23
Oct. 26, 2012 at Louisville L 34-31

But if you watch them play, they sure look better than average. They are the inverse of rutgirls where you watch them play and they are not as good as their record nor scores.

Pretty sure we would be at least 5-2 against that schedule as well.

They looked good against L'Ville which is the only time I have watched them play, but the rest of that schedule is garbage...we would have probably looked just as good. I think this is a great game to see just where we are as a team that's 4-4 and has played a tough schedule vs a team that looked good against a crappy one.

I've watched them play a few times and like us they've had stretches where they've looked real good and stretches where they've looked awful.

Muchie is a HUGE wildcard because he's jekyl and hyde. Sometimes looks good and other times looks horrid. I think we need to force him to stay in the pocket and make passes. But we can't give him all day to throw it either. If he's off he's bad.

So like BJ Daniels, we should be assured that he is going to be completely on point Saturday lol...

Yes exactly. Isn't that the way it goes for Syracuse.

(Just like in hoops where were usually good for giving up a career high each night.)

Widlcard is a good word for him. As he goes offensively, they go.
