I think so too actually. Everything I have read is that Lloyd is very highly regarded and hadn't gotten a job before now because the Zags already named him Few's successor so there was question if he wanted to leave (sound familiar). And I've already said I think UNC should have hired Miller.

These types of hires make me believe that the post-JB era pessimists may be overreacting just a touch.
