The part where Clark played 4 years of college football already.

Same with Diggs
Are they not allowed to say thank you?

Do all their social media followers know they may be out of eligibility, especially when some players play 5 or even 6 years?

Ok.

Thank you makes sense.

Declaring for the draft when you've run out of eligibility seems like declaring you're going home from a poker game when you've run out of money.

I guess it's just me.

Let's go Clark!

Lots of great on field stuff, but I think what I'll miss most is his confident strut down the quad walk with his huge 'CINCO' chain!

Sure, but it's not like people fall through a trap door in the floor when they're out of chips. In your scenario this is just saying 'thanks for a fun evening, bye now' as you get up from the table.

Do players still have to declare for the draft like the old days?

Ok.

I think it’s also declaring that they want to play at the next level. Not everyone wants to give it a go

It's like the high schools doing signing day for D3 players. Give everyone their moment.

Yeah, it feels weird. I keep getting confused thinking, "Oh, he must've had one more year left."

It fits this era of social media, though.

Best of luck, Cinco!

Absolutely think he gets drafted and finds a spot in some team’s defensive two deep.

There has been a big shift in the NFL to two-high safety looks in recent years, which has lowered air yards on passing attempts.

Essentially the game is played closer to the line of scrimmage, with defences wanting to take away deep shots. I think this plays to Cinco’s strengths.

Cinco doesn’t really excel (relatively speaking) at any one thing, but he is adequate in man coverage, adequate in multiple types of zone coverages, and plays much bigger than his 6’1, 190 frame would indicate.

He’s exactly the type of DB teams want to roll out in nickel and dime packages when they aren’t sure if a team is going to be passing or running, and want a dawg who can execute on a range of assignments.

It’s a good way to leverage social media by the player and the school

Get the message of SU and Draft linked in front of people.

I agree.

It's just unfortunate that fans read this and think players with eligibility are leaving and start to lament what could have been for next year when it couldn't.
