Outside of his poor shooting game last week this kid brings it every game. Makes outstanding contributions on both ends of the court and has a quiet eventempered workmanlike ethic. Certainly one of the most under rated players in the Big East if not America. I love that kid.

Great kid..very easy to root for. But keep in mind that according to many of the experts here, he's nothing more than the reincarnation of Josh Pace.

He is exactly like Josh in that he is a glue guy. Makes good play after good play. He is also taller, a better rebounder and shoots better. So this expert says, Hell yeah he is like Josh and I'm glad he's on our side.

Was glad to see him have a good game after the Georgetown game... that he was MVP is all the more sweeter. Nice confidence boost.

He may be, but he almost singlehandedly gave the game away the last 5 minutes. Had an absolutely horrible stretch.

Anyone who didn't see CJ at least 10 games ago as Flacusian describes him, hasn't been watching too closely. His intensity is always there along with a natural feel for the game. I also agree with Marsh that he will be one of the best in the BE next year.
It gets me stoked to think about next years team even though we still have a lot to enjoy this year.

Without Melo Fair has had a tough time doing much. We don't have a post isoation threat we have post transition threats. Half court Transition basketball depends on floor spacing the defense or hitting jumpers to open the D up.

With two guys in the low post you lose alot almost all of offensive boarding edge. Teams will box out to easy against that. I would guess Southerland will make a leap as our perimeter forward next year, and one of our bigs at the 4/5 to play in the high post with Fair. Probably someone with some dribbling skill and footwork moves off it. Hopefully we find someone who developes that (Grant, DC, Rak, Noels, because we will need it.
