PSU - toxic, new staff
BC - meltdown (currently 2-7), new staff
Rutgers - BE left behind
Uconn - BE left behind, care taker staff

SU, upward trend, ACC, stability

The opportunity it ripe to bring in some excellent classes, and they have already closed the books on 2012 and deep into evaluation on 2013.

Get it done.

that's pretty much all there is to say at this point - the best possible scenario for SU recruiting has been laid at your feet - now get it done

All of which would be supported even further if we can get another win and get to a second consecutive bowl.

Plus Notre Dame is as weak as its been in a while and even Ohio State has cooled off from their 10+ years of strong play in the Big 10. Maryland has won 2 games so far this season, Pitt is pathetic and up and comer Buffalo lost their coach as soon as he had success there. The only school anywhere close to SU who is now better than they used to be is Temple, and the Owl's head coach's kid is wearing Orange!

Almost makes you wish Doug had not filled in the current class so quickly.

I have a feeling 2013 is going to be a really strong recruiting year for us. All this considered, plus the fact that Wheatley and Adkins both are really heating up on the recruiting trail. We've built strong inroads into NYC, Georgia and Michigan, and rebuilt the Florida connection. I think we finally crack the top 35 in recruiting classes next year.

You forgot Pitt: new staff, no PA ties...

Gotta close on some of these guys... Hopefully the anouncement of a new practice facility as well...

If we get new facilities our recruiting will improve greatly. If we don't it will only improve slightly with all this going on.

The staff has done alot of work in the great lakes. Short term, just a few guys this year and last but relationships are being built.

The only catch in that is do we really go up against those schools for many kids?

Pitt will likely benefit from this PSU scandal, more than any other school.

Yes, updating the facilities is a must.

certainly not all of them, but enough to make a difference.
