I like playing Devil's advocate when things are this unbalanced, so I ask that you bear with me a moment. If the shoe were on the other foot and we had missed a lot of bunnies and shot horrible from the line(as opposed to rebounding poorly, something that isn't that rare for our zone), I again say that I'd have no problem with Jeff Broheim thinking that we should have won a close game. What are we, the PC Police who determine what words and feelings can be expressed? Now that some writer is doing his job and making things interesting for his fanbase instead of going with the easier pick of the frontrunner, should(lol) we again lambaste the coach, team, and their entire fanbase based on one guy's assessment? I remember in high school my AP American History teacher told us we could take any position we want in our essays, as long as we included support for it. I think the remaining schedule alone accomplishes his goal of at least making it feasible, and that should be enough to prevent the fellow from being reamed out, at least when looked at without bias. Speaking of bias, we also need to remember who his target audience is. It doesn't hurt that his team, like Duke, has recently destroyed an opponent. It wouldn't hurt our cause if we could manage to do the same sometime, that is if you care about opinions, which many here obviously do. I certainly think his article has more merit than the couple of Axeman pieces I've had the "pleasure" of reading. Is there a comments section where these concerns can be discussed with the author? I think this scheduling lull is going to contribute to the bitterness on here, being we have to do the talking for awhile instead of our team. I "can't hardly wait" until that changes!
