In 1992, SU played Miami and the sideline reporter had a decibel meter on the field. It was louder than standing right next to a Boeing 747 jet engine. You can believe what you want to believe, but I've experienced both venues and enjoyed both venues. Noise level isn't even close. It's easy to say "it's not as loud, and I don't believe you..." when you've never experienced it. We're passionate fans, but we're not delusional. If other venues were louder I'd say it. If FSU was louder, I'd agree with you. It's not though.

If Clemson scores early and often though, it will be as quiet as a church. You're right though, the game won't be decided by the fans, it'll be decided by the players. We're all excited about the fact that we're going to have a full dome because off the heels of the Greg Robinson era, there wasn't a whole lot to cheer about. As the program continues to build momentum, the crowds will return. The Clemson game is an important part in that process.
