Welcome to the ACC. Syracuse will be a great addition to the league. I've been to the Syracuse/Watertown/Thousand Islands region several times. It's beautiful (especially in spring and fall). A lot of our fans might not be aware that your area is actually more pristine and rural than the Anderson-Greenville-Spartanburg region of South Carolina (the Clemson area). I wish I could have made this trip. It probably can go unsaid that there are plenty of posters that pose as Clemson fans on boards such as this, and there are others that aren't "quite as informed" as they could be. But repeating what a few others have said, we generally have a classy, as well as enthusiastic, following. I'm betting that you'll find a size-able and loud, but respectful, group of Clemson folks in Syracuse this weekend. I think a lot of our folks, but obviously not all, actually do understand what the Dome is going to be like. I sure hope our players are ready for it. Death Valley is incredibly loud and hot (much of the time) and is intimidating. But I also get that the Dome brings an enclosed feel and intense noise levels, and I do think some of our people are going to be surprised. On the flip side, Syracuse fans might not fully get the speed they're going to face this weekend. Our defense is much better this year. And the offense is always pretty good. But when it's fully clicking, it's fun to watch. I hope we can get adjusted quickly to the claustrophobia, heat and noise. If we do that, we should be ok. If not, it could get more interesting than we want. Good luck the rest of the year (excluding this weekend). Come down South next year. We'll show you a good time.
