There are always those games where a team just has a good night or an awful one (like SU vs DePaul) If MOV was so important, Clemson would have kept scoring to the bitter end - they didn't. Because a better ranking would mean more for them than Moore hucking up a three. Plus, in reality, it doesn't move that much game to game.
