Besides last years ACC title, of which they parlayed that success, into a 70-33 butt whooping, what was the last thing that they won? I felt the need to start a thread purely for my own mental health. Of the 4 X16 model, to think that teams such as Vanderbilt, MN, Indiana, ISU, would get seats at a table of which we aren't invited speaks to the absurdity. At least FSU used to be good. Clemson is dirty as can be, stinks in just about every other sport other than football, is mediocre academically, and has never been a consistent winner. Certainly a school of merit! :crazy: They do have a great fanbase and gameday atmosphere, I'll give them that! Not saying Syracuse matches up, but these schools outside of the big dawgs, all have similar stature. What market does Clemson really bring? Southern fans? It's so hot down there, I guess watching TV on Saturdays is the only option... Vent over...

From 1991-2003 clemson finished 4 times in top 25 1991-18,1993-23,2000-16,2003-22. From 2004-2011 finished 3 times in top 25,2005-21,2007-22,2011-22 not by any means a football powerhouse in any year, only 2 times in top 20 1991-18 and 2000-16. Our 13 year run we had a 6-1992,11-1991,14-2001,19-1995,21-1996,21-1997,25-1998. Years of Big East with Miami 1991-2003. These are from final standing of AP poll.
