Clemson's Performance Last Night...

Was truly monumental for the ACC. When is the last time you saw a Saban defense give up 31 first downs and 550 yds?!. 31 first downs isnt hanging in the game with a few big plays, its methodically moving the ball from scrimmage against a front 7, all of whom are top 2 round NFL picks. 2 big special teams plays were the difference. The ACC champ played in the trenches and also played with Bamas skill guys all night. That said, with Clemson, the Ville, and FSU in our division the ACC Atlantic is not good news for us.

The most interesting thing last night was watching the running commentary of the coaches on ESPN2. They kept saying "tempo is hard to deal with, it's an equalizer."

i was flipping between coverages with the regular HD broadcast, coaches corner , and the "homer" options.
and while the coaches offered some limited insights and the homers were fun after scores spent most of the game in plain old HD. better overall game screen and less chatter . more booze and strippers in the man cave would boost ratings.
