It's as if they are afraid of silence- you are constantly bombarded with ads, then piped in music that's too loud, then the PA announcer that's too loud, and the in-game host who you can't understand. I mentioned in another thread that we got earphones for my daughter and it was a lifesaver.

Like others have said, I don't mind ads- you have to pay the bills. But this is the first year in the 20+ years I've had preferred season tickets where I've honestly felt everything "around" the game (music, PA, etc) was interfering with the experience. Obviously I'm not as young as I once was- but looking at this thread it doesn't appear as though I am alone in my frustration.

I'll be at UNC this weekend, will be interesting to see the contrast, if any. I imagine some of it will be via the natural difference in an outdoor stadium...
