Not good for SU. We are in the ACC bottom four. Even BC has higher valuation than us.

So considering we don’t do Baseball and Hockey. As well as going pretty low budget on softball and volleyball, and the football stadium seats under 43k, there is only so much revenue earning potential for the department. Obviously revenue and overall evaluation is down. Men’s Basketball needs to be fixed. I still think the program that has the most potential to become revenue generating for the school is women’s basketball, we have the coach, we can be a powerhouse with the dome.

If I were to guess the percentage of men’s basketball contribution to the overall evaluation of the athletic department is decreasing year over year. The problem is that its decreasing through mostly decline of the men’s basketball program. Ideally you want the overall department to increase as you continue to see returns with further investment in football with the men’s basketball program decreasing its share without declining its individual revenue.

If P2 expands to 72 teams, which I think is the most likely scenario as each conference has four divisions, each division has 9 schools, SU as well as other 17 ACC schools will be all in P2.
