Cnycentral= liars

How does this make them liars? Did they state they would show every game?
For instance ACC / RSN for the Cornell game was on 636.1 or whatever, from what was said when they broke the deal they would be picking up games that weren't covered under ESPN and the other stations. 636.1 isn't even under the umbrella of cny stations. What games exactly did they pick up?

If the game is on ESPN3, it's still covered under ESPN.

CNY Central only gets the games that AREN'T covered by ESPN or the ACC Regional Network.

Do you know what games they are covering? According to the press release video they knew in October. I don't see where they are covering any games.

They have the Pitt football game in a few weeks.

And they'll get any basketball game not picked-up by ESPN/ESPN2/ESPNU/ESPN3/CBS/ACCRegNet

Which right now may only be the Wake Forest game on Jan 29.

One game that's just not right.

just because a game is on espn3 doesn't mean the locals cant get the game.

True...but I think that has to be negotiated. Maybe CNYCentral asked and ESPN wanted too much.

Pretty much what I've learned is deal with it , get an Apple TV, tv stations are allowed to be very vague, and cnycentral got that big tv deal to maybe broadcast one Syracuse bball game.

These negotiatiors obviously weren't closers. Maybe they could have learned something about closing from this Oscar-nominated scene from Glengarry Glen Ross. In the end, CNY viewers got 3rd prize:

Sad thing is they couldn't take these 4 games not being televised. Sadder thing is I know twc would have.

SCENES get nominated for Oscars?

All I know is that whoever is in charge at CNYcentral should be pretty upset with whoever negotiates the rights to these games. TW pulled off televising these types of games for years without a problem. If your getting out work and out shined by TW theres a problem.
Maybe we are spoiled but there is no reason this game is not on TV. I'll even say poor job by SU for allowing this to happen.

Maybe next time they should hold off on telling people they will be broadcasting games until they actually have some.

I mis-worded that. I had read that Alec Baldwin got nominated for something for his performance, which consisted soley of that scene(it turns out Al Pacino got nominated for best supporting actor). Having done sales and having a boss that turned me on to that movie, it had quite an impact on me. Quite a mix of parts where you don't know if you should laugh or cringe. I guess it depends on whose point of view youre looking from.

That's because the Big East had a much simpler TV contract.

TW got everything that ESPN didn't want.

With this new ACC deal there are too many mouths to feed (ESPN & Raycom) before the local outlet gets a sniff.
