Coach Griff on ESPN Radio Syracuse today...

Griff gives GREAT interviews. Selfishly hope he stays at SU for the longhaul but he’ll have HC opportunities elsewhere I’m sure

First of all, no single player is going to replace the fantastic production that Elijah Hughes brought to the table last year. And not just statistically, but the versatility to create for himself and others off of the bounce, his ability to score in bunches without disrupting the team offensive flow, etc.

But Girard being a little better, Buddy [now an upperclassman] being a little more versatile, Griffin being added, Quincy making a sophomore leap, Sidibe being a proven starter and improving, Marek being stronger, etc. and it is a collective improvement.

NCAA team.

Is it better spreading 20ppg around 3 or 4 players or having 1 guy who then be the focus of the opposing D get 20? Griffin gets 12-14 at sf, really only leaves 6 ppg to be spread around. Can easily see Buddy and Girard doing that.
