Last spring, I liked him and Hodgson as potential Red replacements but when I did research on Schertz and his offensive philosophy last summer, I became convinced that he could be Ben McCollum 2.0—a guy that was a big winner at the D2 level, then quickly made a successful transition to the mid major level, then took another step up to P4.
