#1 We need a massive coaching upgrade which is coming.  BUT #2 We also need a talent upgrade in the form of consistency and experience.

New coaches that are competing at the top are not pulling multiple players up from midmajors and putting them in a starting rotation especially not unproven, younger guys.  Qadir and a few other are the exception, but considering he had also already played 50+ games in 2 years of ACC hoops that feels like a better template than bringing up a Freshman or Soph into the ACC.

For sure if you want to keep older, stronger guys that are in their 4th or 5th year as bench piece get them, but bringing younger guys up a level then throwing them into the rotation is not how we're winning next year immediately.

The fanbase and especially you guys here will eat our new Guards alive if they show up looking like Carlos or cracking under the pressure like George and JJ have been known to do and then we're told to give it time for them to adjust.

Also sidenote the new coach better be looking at these 28 year old Euro players that we can bring over for the front court because that is starting to feel like a must have.

It's a full rebuild fellas, not buying a midmajor coach and half their team then dropping them into the ACC.
