Schertz and Hodgson are not as far apart from each other as some think. Both winners, great coaches. Difference is that Schertz is more experienced in terms of time spent coaching (and winning). But, Hodgson has experience coaching (and winning) in upstate NY and has experience coaching at schools that prioritize (or dare I say even have) football. And that last point is extremely important.
