The university is looking to cut costs everywhere (not guessing here) due to the revenue share mandate compounded by the additional loss of revenue from the drop in attendance. Why add an additional, high level administer's salary at this point in time? Maybe they are trying to get the house in order for the transition to the new Chancellor?
