Had a couple good seasons with Martin's leftovers but slumped for three years after, then finally had a couple perfectly timed seasons resulting in KSU extending him, and he immediately tanked and the school wanted to fire him but couldn't get the money together so he stayed for a lame duck year and that was that.

Jerome Tang - Don't know if he had other offers that cycle, but that was a Godfather situation if there ever was one. They gave him $2M to leave Baylor despite no HC experience and only working at one school. He had the fluky E8 run in his first year and they immediately extended him to $3M+ annually. When they fired him last month they owed him $18M and are now trying to wiggle out of it in court.
