I had a long zoom meeting with one of the associate athletic directors about 3 weeks ago regarding this exact issue for the women's program. It is for operational expenses only. Confirmed by said athletic director when I asked that question. The women now have a link for revenue sharing in the Champion Cuse site. You have to go way down the donation page under "other athletic funds" There is a box there to check for "athletic Competitive Excellence Women's Basketball" I think there was also one for men's basketball. They were supposed to be having a big meeting to make donating to women revenue sharing easier, but I think all of the changes cancelled that meeting. Obviously NIL can only be done outside of any SU donations through a collective, and currently there is only one for football.

EDIT: Having those links does not increase  the dollar amount of what can be shared. And my guess is if we start giving too much towards either men's or women's basketball that does not fit into the % breakdown of the total, they will kill the link for the remainder of the year. Bottom line, it just allows you to have a choice, but the totals and the splits will still stay the same.
