The assistant promotion after Autry terrifies everyone, but he ain’t no Autry and I don’t think BB cares anyway. See bullet 1. He will bet on a top assistant and we are not a school sniping and getting into bidding wars stealing P5 coaches for better or worse. I made a long post yesterday that BB was not the preferred pick by many factions at SU yet won the job (same with Fran) and I expect he will do the same with the Cuse Hoops HC. -If you track back through the thread you’ll see a few comments sprinkled that LM was high on our list way back, but yet he is barely getting the attention now, yet we know that unnamed interviews went on this week but outside the purview of major donors. *Announcement timing I expect would be early next week. Uconn could be playing until April and we can’t wait that long nor do we need to. LM should be off a week after Sunday before Sweet16. I also expect it’s the right thing to do to wait out Gmac’s game, if somehow he pulls a miracle or even pushes Duke to the limit I think every program out there will notice too and we may need to re-assess, but that would be a longshot.
