I've never doubted G-Mac's ability to coach, I just never thought he was ready to make the jump from Siena to Syracuse. Both Boeheim and G-Mac have had no problem taking money from him, and he clearly wants back in with the program. If he will legitimately contribute for G-Mac, then he seems like the most logical option. I would love to take a shot on Murray or Martelli Jr. but it seems like we would just be setting them up to fail if the money won't be there. I will end up rooting for whoever we hire, but if he can legitimately generate the funds some are talking about, G-Mac seems like the best move.
