Coaches that never made it to the final four

Can't do the slide shows... How bout a recap?:)

It's a crappy list.

Listed alphabetically:

Bliss
Carril
Catlett
Chaney
Tom Davis
DeVoe
Diddle
Driesell
Dunphy
Ellis
Eustachy
Hinkle
Keady
Pat Kennedy
Lemons
McKillop
Ralph Miller
Sean Miller
Morrill
Penders
Stallings
Stewart
Wulk

Stallings is the cuse patron saint of correction and karma

They don't have Tony Bennett or Leonard Hamilton or Mike Brey.

If you're going to list guys like Eustachy and Bliss, you should really have the above three as well.

Maybe they're omitting active coaches? I guess Eustachy isn't technically active.

No, Sean Miller is on there. Then yeah, Bennett especially is a big miss.

Gene Keady the only one that is kind of surprising.
Not surprising since I already know this about Keady. But I’d say Keady, Lefty Driesell, John Chaney, Rick Barnes (not on list), and Lou Carnesecca (not on list) are among the best coaches never to win a title.

Or Dick Bennett, Tony’s dad. Tony will likely eventually win a title. He’s too young to be on this list.

Louie C and St. John’s made the 1985 Final Four in Rupp.
The Big East had 3 Final Four teams that year.

John Cheney was a 1 seed in 1988. His team got beat by Duke. If we beat Rhody I think it’s Temple-Syracuse we matched up with Duke.

Keady gagged a lot. 96 he almost lost to a 16 seed. He lost second round to Georgia and Cipola and Wallace took them out next round.

In 2000 Keady should have beat Tony Bennett and Wisconsin in the Elite 8.

I consider him one of the best of the second tier coaches, and certainly the best coach at deploying goons.
He isn’t impressed
