Can't do the slide shows... How bout a recap?
Can't do the slide shows... How bout a recap?
They don't have Tony Bennett or Leonard Hamilton or Mike Brey.
If you're going to list guys like Eustachy and Bliss, you should really have the above three as well.
Not surprising since I already know this about Keady. But I’d say Keady, Lefty Driesell, John Chaney, Rick Barnes (not on list), and Lou Carnesecca (not on list) are among the best coaches never to win a title.Gene Keady the only one that is kind of surprising.
Or Dick Bennett, Tony’s dad. Tony will likely eventually win a title. He’s too young to be on this list. They don't have Tony Bennett or Leonard Hamilton or Mike Brey.

Can't or won't? I refuse to read lists that make you click through each page. Shameless "click grab". It'd be like reading a regular article that makes you click to a new page after every paragraph. Can't do the slide shows... How bout a recap?
Obviously Dixon also belongs on this list.
Chaney got to 5 elite 8’s, but no final fours. I think his teams generally maxed out what they could do though.
He isn’t impressedI consider him one of the best of the second tier coaches, and certainly the best coach at deploying goons.
I love John Chaney just for this.
He knew what Cal was about.

I rest my case. That’s Cuse bias. John Thompson elder certainly belongs in the first tier.
I rest my case.
Louie made the final four in '85Not surprising since I already know this about Keady. But I’d say Keady, Lefty Driesell, John Chaney, Rick Barnes (not on list), and Lou Carnesecca (not on list) are among the best coaches never to win a title.
