As others have shown, yards per game historically have been a better measure of scoring average than any other metric. If this offense becomes even 10-20% more efficient, while keeping the same tempo, the scoring average increases and likely forces the opponent to play at a similar pace on offense, which can play into our hands if that's not the design of their offense.
