I think it will take a quite an offer to pry McDonald away from Shafer, and if that happens it will mean that more then likely we will be in pretty good shape.  I am more concerned with losing great up and coming coaches , who can recruit like Daoust and Lester.  I can easily see both of them being court as coordinators after next season (if successful).  It's more important now then ever that Shafer is given the money to pay his assistants.  At least a salary that is on par with the rest of the ACC.  A lot of people think these coaches will stay just because of loyalty, but if the Perles move shows anything there are always other factors, be it family or financial.  Anyways with the current roster, plus the 2014 recruiting class, to go along with the re-worked staff I feel we are in great shape to start making some noise.  I still have my sights set on 2015 as our breakout year, but I can see some noise being made this upcoming season.
