There were a number of throws, specifically on the quick outs and bubble screens, that his timing, accuracy and velocity left a lot to be desired. There was one to Donovan Brown that would have left Brown in a lot of trouble against any decent competition.

He missed badly on the Gadsden seam/skinny post route, and also missed a bunch of check downs that would have given our skill position players (who I think are very good) a chance to break one. Instead, he chose to run - which is fine I guess. But I just don’t think he is an intuitive QB with instincts, or a very good reader of defenses.

Again, I am not the end all, be all, and I do think the ability is there - we have seen it. I just was expecting yesterday to be much better. For me, it left a lot to be desired, despite the score.
