I think Dabo is more long term with Clemson than some of the talking heads.  He has built Clemson to be a perennial winner and contender for conference and national championships.   Clemson will pay generously and will keep a good staff on hand.  He is not expected to win the NC annually.  When Saban retires, there will be many people vying for the job but only a couple will ever be able to truly deal with the pressure of following Saban.  From Dabo (or any other elite level HC) why jump from an excellent gig to one where it is all but impossible to live up to expectations.  This is why many coaches refuse to follow legends, expectations are unrealistic.  Even if Saban's replacement were as good as Saban, the replacement will face constant criticism and continuous comparison to Saban.  Who needs it? especially when you already have an elite position.   Unless Clemson falls short on money, Dabo stays put and pulls a Stoops, going out on his own terms, or a Bowden, retiring when he is too old to handle the grind.
