I would 100% watch this over the secondary bowls.
Sagarin would have Missouri -6 and Ole Miss -13 on neutral. I’d take cuse +6 all day in the Missouri matchupWe would beat Missouri and lose to ole miss

Personally, I think it’s only a matter of time that someone on a team that makes the CFP is going to opt out and then others will follow.I think the opt outs would still occur because it would be a meaningless championship. If it happens and I'm wrong about the opt outs, it would be a fun watch. I love quality OOC matchups.
You're probably right. I wonder what scouts would think about it, though. There is a difference between leaving your team high and dry with a championship on the line and opting out of a game or tournament that has no impact on a championship. If a guy opts out when he has a chance to win a NC, what's to say he won't sit when he's about to be a free agent?Personally, I think it’s only a matter of time that someone on a team that makes the CFP is going to opt out and then others will follow.
Some teams could potentially play 16-17 games. That’s a lot of extra wear and risk for guys that know they are going to be high draft picks.
There’s probably a guy on Ohio State, Georgia, etc that is projected to go high, but pretty banged up at this point after 12-13 games. The debate of playing 3-4 more games knowing a bad injury could forfeit their high draft position will happen. Insurance policy and/or NIL money is nothing compared to a high NFL pick. Someone will eventually be the first to break the ice and opt out of the CFP.

Now what could be more feasible… four regional “NITs”. A field of maybe 8 in each region, making travel more affordable. Then you’d have a regional champ of the North, South, Midwest and West?
